University of the Pacific’s engineering management program prepares students for leadership roles in today’s global workforce as engineers, managers and educators. Program graduates are prepared to pursue advanced-level studies or enter professional practice in a wide array of different industries, positions and projects.
The engineering management program is designed to provide students flexibility while providing a curriculum that integrates project and system engineering courses with courses within concentration areas; such as, civil or mechanical engineering. Alongside a faculty advisor, students develop a plan of study based on their goals. With 30% of the curriculum being electives, this major is a gateway to many career paths and opportunities.
The Engineering Management (B.S.) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, under the commission's General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Engineering Management and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
